We were among the first tech team members at Battery Smart, India's largest EV battery-swapping network, now backed by 20 institutional investors including Tiger Global Management and Orios Venture Partners, with the company's tech carrying it to a net valuation of $340 million.
Being that early means wearing every hat a developer in a big team never has to, and deciding what to automate, what to leave alone, and what breaks under real load. We set up the entire frontend, backend, database, and DevOps infrastructure, shipping 3 customer-facing apps and 6 backend services, owning IoT data ingestion built to store and serve telemetry from 1M+ devices without stressing the database under large concurrent loads, and building a Hindi voice agent proof of concept for Battery Smart's driver support use case.
